About the peptide database
How many peptides are in the database?
The database indexes 91 research peptides, of which 82 have completed a full sex-disaggregated evidence review. The rest carry their research facts while the female-evidence review is written.
How is each peptide's evidence grade decided?
Every compound's A–E grade is derived from published study fields by a fixed, transparent rubric, not an opaque score. Grade A requires human evidence that included female subjects; grade E means anecdotal, in-vitro, or no indexed studies.
What does the female study count tell me?
It shows how many indexed studies included female subjects and, separately, how many reported outcomes by sex. Where no qualifying female study exists, the profile says "unstudied" rather than extrapolating from male data.
Can I search the database by symptom or goal?
Yes. Use the search box to match compound names, aliases, and research tags, or filter by research area such as hormonal, metabolic, skin, or recovery. Vera, the cited AI assistant, can also answer questions across the whole database.
